This evening I was contacted by one of our BTH Champions Lesley Fletcher about new missing child case in Brooklyn. I have no Amber Alert on this and that would be because the RCMP is not associated with the USA‘s Amber Alert System. Which is why people like Lesley who as her ear to the ground for cases that should be, and need to be alerted to we can do that as soon as possible.
Sadly there too little information about this case and we actually received a bit more from Lesley than is available even in google searches.
We applaud Lesley for her “ALWAYS” style of Advocacy

Thanks everyone – SHE is HOME – This came in this morning. You know, many times with teens it is that they have ‘run away’ only to return in a day or two. BUT, I am not deterred by this fact because there are also many occasions that it is not the case and swift outsourcing of info can be a life saver. While a life, in this case didn’t ‘need’ saving, it very well could have. Sincerely, Les xx
“The RCMP issued a media release on Saturday morning saying at approximately midnight the night before the RCMP had safely located the missing girl, Brianna Hayward, in the downtown area of Yarmouth.
The RCMP extended its appreciation to the media and general public for their assistance.”
Praise alll that is Holy!!
Thank you Lesley. You are a Rock Star to be sure. (My head was up in the clouds this morning I am afraid. Elsewhere.)
We do not worry about why a child is missing here at BTH, just that they are. It’s always a celebration when a child comes home.
Your point about teen runaways should not be dismissed at all. There is a great tragedy that is in our world streets every day and even sadder every night..Teen runaways. They are the most vulnerable demographic in our entire world.
We at BTH have had this issue on our minds and have wanted to bring this to a discussion point here at BTH. I believe maybe you have just started this.
Thanks again our friend, and friend of all children.
